Michael Fischer alias „Astaire La Vista“ was born into a musical family, sang with the Vienna Boys Choir, and then studied at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna. His passion, however, was always for tap dance. “After performances as a dancer or a bar pianist, I was always left with a longing to unify both art forms, to transform the stage into a time-machine and charm the audience with spontaneity and humour back to the golden age of entertainment.”
