Concert pianist Julian Jacbson, who is also professor at the Royal College of Music, the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Xiamen University China as well as chairman of the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe, plays the FEURICH 218 grand piano in Howden Minster.
“I was delighted to play the magnificent FEURICH 218 grand piano on my recent visit to Howden Minster. With the feel and touch-response of any of the more famous marques, the FEURICH also has a very special «burnished» quality to the sonority, singing but with a core of strength that can keep the most complicated textures clear”
Julian Jacobson
Howdenshire Music ProjectJulian Jacobson performed at Howden Minster on a FEURICH 218 Concert I grand piano, generously supplied by FEURICH Vienna for this year’s Howdenshire Music Project concert series. After the recent amazing success of the Howdenshire Piano Appeal, we are delighted to announce that this FEURICH 218 Concert I grand piano will be staying permanently in Howden Minster and will be used for all future concerts. A huge thank you to everyone who supported the appeal.
Also, sincere thanks for the goodwill and support from our fine musicians. We would also like to express our deepest thanks to FEURICH-Vienna for their support. We’re honoured to have this excellent grand piano. And we can’t wait for you all to see and hear the piano in person in our 2021 concert series!
