The pianist Vikram Rajan was born to immerse himself in the most diverse worlds. Born in Libya, he grew up in India, where he also learned to play the piano, then moved to the USA and from there to the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. The internationally sought-after concert pianist has put down roots in Vienna and teaches at the Spielstatt music school, which is part of our youth development program.
After thorough testing, the pianist says: “It has a beautiful sound, it is very clear across all registers. It’s often better to buy this affordable piano than a mediocre grand.”
Vikram Rajan deliberately chose a Beethoven piece that makes very different demands on the instrument in a single passage, “… and you can actually do that on the Mod. 133. It probably sounds great on stage too.”
