Multi-award-winning young pianist Kanako Mizuno plays the FEURICH 218 grand piano in Howden Minster in a duo concert with violinist Laura Rickard. Works by Mozart, Svendsen, Schumann and Brahms, performed by two outstanding graduates of the Royal Academy of Music. Laura has performed as soloist at Royal Festival Hall and Kanako is a winner of the Tokyo Piano Competition.

In a solo concert, Kanako Mizuno presents a beautiful selection of works to lift our lockdown spirits and showcase the FEURICH 218 Concert I Grand Piano in Howden Minster. A special piano concert featuring Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight’ Sonata and works by Bach, Chopin, Poulenc and Janacek.

After the recent amazing success of the Howdenshire Piano Appeal, we are delighted to announce that this FEURICH 218 Concert I grand piano will be staying permanently in Howden Minster and will be used for all future concerts.
