Already in 1851 the founder of the company Julius Gustav Feurich presented the first piano with underdamper action. This development was 50 years ahead of other piano manufacturers and is a design concept which still is used today in the 21st century. Such a piano made in 1853 is in the collection of the FEURICH company - and still plays.
